My work is essentially about mediation ?– before, during and after painting.
Sometimes amorphous images come into play, other time I consciously use sacred mantras in the paintings. Layering occurs in some paintings that allows the viewer to see through veils of paint into another world. One could also be reminded of landscape and hopefully a peaceful place and in others the view could be considered a landscape of the mind. All in all, my intention is to capture, for one brief moment a stillness that cannot be held onto ?– ?“the mystery.?”??
