| Sculptor Chet
Eskey works predominantly in marble, granite,
limestone, and bronze. Now retired from
medicine, Dr. Eskey is also a Board Certified
Orthopedic surgeon. Creating sculpture
part-time, while active in his renowned medical
practice, has now led to Eskey devoting all of
his time to sculpture. |

While
his interest is predominantly in carving
stone, Eskey has worked in different
media as well. His devotion has led him
to study in Italy and with sculptors in
Florida, Arizona, Colorado and
Vancouver, Canada.
Extensive surgical experience and
knowledge of anatomy gives Eskey not
only a wealth of technical knowledge to
draw upon but a singular vision of the
human form’s abstraction. And so it is
the intangible beauty of form that his
background has lent him that provides
the ultimate influence, allowing the
true nature of the human soul, as it is
expressed through the human body, to
reveal itself in Eskey’s elegant and
inspired sculptures.
Chet Eskey’s sculptures are in private
collections throughout the United
States. |
